“I served our country twice in combat as a gay man during ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,’ trained as an Airborne Paratrooper, Arabic Linguist, Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Non-Commissioned Officer. I have worked with hundreds of campaigns for the last 15 years, dedicating my post-military life to our party. I have organized alongside my fellow union workers to negotiate fair treatment for working people.
“I know what true selfless service means — and it stands in sharp contrast to the corrupt, fascist, and megalomaniacal Trump-Abbott-Paxton agenda that is tearing our state, country, and world apart to enrich the privileged few at the top.
“This is American carnage: from ICE’s indiscriminate and lethal violence, to racist redistricting designed to erase the blood spilled by our elders for the ballot box, to the war and policy that is making life unaffordable for us all except the oligarchic billionaires.
